Diploma program that prepares students for employment in paramedic positions. Provides learning opportunities to upgrade knowledge and skills from EMT/AEMT level to paramedic level. Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of CoAEMSP. Successful completion allows graduates to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic certification examination and apply for Georgia licensure as a paramedic.
