Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Headquarters and Administration

The ACLS Provider course offers essential knowledge and skills for managing the first 10 minutes of an adult cardiac emergency. Participants are trained to handle symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and ischemic stroke, with guidance on ECG and pharmacology for successful completion.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Headquarters and Administration

This BLS class teaches adult, pediatric, and infant CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios, the use of mouth-to-mask, and bag-valve mask. The course also covers automated external defibrillation, foreign-body airway obstruction, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies, providing crucial skills for healthcare providers.

EMT-Basic Certification Course

The EMT Academy at Lancaster EMS is an 'earn while you learn' program where candidates are paid from the start. The course takes approximately 15 weeks, with classes held Monday through Friday. Upon completion, participants are offered a two-year employment contract with Lancaster EMS with a competitive base rate.
