Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Kishwaukee College Main Campus

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are trained to respond to emergency situations and provide medical services. Students learn skills such as CPR and glucose administration. The EMT program emphasizes practical training and prepares students to earn an EMT-Basic license in Illinois. This comprehensive program ensures graduates are equipped to deliver essential care in emergencies.

Paramedic

Kishwaukee College Main Campus

Paramedics provide advanced medical care during emergencies and are trained in skills like medication administration and airway management. The Kishwaukee College Paramedic program includes an 11-month internship, preparing students for licensure. Graduates earn certifications in ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS, equipping them to handle significant medical emergencies effectively.
