Emergency Medical Technician

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)

Prepares students for the New York State EMT-Basic examination and National Registry Exam. Students learn basic life-saving techniques including scene safety, patient assessment, fracture management, bleeding control, and oxygen administration. Includes didactic coursework, hands-on labs, and minimum 24 hours of clinical rotations on NYC 911 ambulances.
