Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Consists of classroom (didactic), skills lab, clinical (hospital observation) and field (ambulance observation) components. Students develop more sophisticated emergency treatment abilities including assessment skills, advanced airway techniques and medication administration. Approximately 20 weeks for a total of 160 hours of instruction.
