Emergency Medical Technician

Center for the ArtsAscent Climbing Facility

This 160-hour EMT course prepares individuals to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation. It covers Basic Life Support Skills, patient assessment, treatment of medical and traumatic emergencies, pharmacology and patient handling. The course includes classroom instruction, hands-on labs, mock scenarios, tests, and ambulance ride alongs with certifications including AHA BLS, ICS 100, 700 & 800, and NREMT.
