Students learn academics, physical and employability skills required for careers in firefighting and emergency medical services. The curriculum covers firefighter safety, fire behavior, fire suppression, ventilation, and vehicle extraction. Successful completion may qualify students to take state Firefighter I and II / Hazmat Operations certification tests and the EMS National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians test.
