The EMT course is a 6.5-unit intensive course designed for individuals who will come in contact with victims of illness or injury primarily in an emergency, pre-hospital environment. Topics include roles and responsibilities, evaluation and treatment of illness and injury, with a focus on life-threatening emergencies. Students will gain a functional understanding of assessment-based approaches to patient care and the interventions included in the EMT I scope of practice.

The Fire Academy program provides training in firefighting techniques, equipment handling, and emergency response. It covers fire prevention, safety procedures, and physical training, preparing students for careers in firefighting and public safety. The curriculum is designed to meet state standards and includes hands-on learning with experienced professionals.
