Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) students gain knowledge of Basic Life Support skills, enabling them to render emergency care to victims of sudden illness or injury and to prevent such situations from becoming life-threatening.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured and to transport the patient to a medical facility. Completing EMT basic training is a first step toward becoming a paramedic.

The Emergency Medical Technician program offers foundational training for those looking to enter the field of emergency services. Students will learn critical life-saving skills, providing immediate care and transport to those in need, preparing them for certification. The program reduces course hours as per new guidelines, stressing the importance of BLS certification as a prerequisite.

Paramedic students will gain hands-on experience in delivering advanced pre-hospital care, including patient assessment, trauma management, stabilization, and critical decision-making during life-threatening situations. The IECC-Frontier Paramedic Education Program has received a Letter of Review from the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
