Hanover Fire-EMS Training provides initial and ongoing training opportunities to career and volunteer members of the department. Courses offered are certified by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, the Virginia Office of EMS, the American Heart Association, and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). The training center features classrooms for fire and EMS lectures, EMS skills training rooms, a mock fire station, and a state-of-the-art Class B gas-fed simulated live fire burn building.
