This program meets all required National EMS Education Standards for training Emergency Medical Technicians. Students complete online coursework weekly and attend one night of classroom practical skills instruction per week, plus several Wednesday sessions. Clinical experiences include 9-1-1 dispatch centers, basic and advanced care EMS units, and hospital settings. Successful completion allows students to sit for the New Jersey EMT certification examination and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians' certification examination.
