Based on recognized first responder guidelines, this course provides training in the skills needed to provide the first patient contact in the emergency medical services system. Through instruction in patient assessment, patient care, legal aspects, terminology, diagnostic signs, life threatening emergencies and many other topics, the First Responder will be better prepared to provide better care for the patient.
