The georgiaemsacademy EMR program is a 9 week program that trains a member of the public to the level of Emergency Medical Responder. The 9 week class is taught mainly online but meets once a week on a Saturday or Sunday in Chamblee, Georgia. Both the in person and online components of the program are rigorous and require consistent student effort. Completion of our Georgia Office of EMS approved program grants three attempts at the National Registry of EMT’s EMR test. Successful passing of the test leads to the student being able to obtain licensure as an EMR in Georgia and work on an ambulance. Successful students are encouraged to return to georgiaemsacademy to complete EMT-Basic.
