The georgiaemsacademy EMT program is a 12 week program that trains a previously trained and certified Emergency Medical Responder to the level of Emergency Medical Technician - Basic. The 12 week class is taught mainly online but meets once a week on a Saturday or Sunday in Chamblee, Georgia. Both the in person and online components of the program are rigorous and require consistent student effort. Additionally, there is a 48 hour clinical experience that is completed during the course at one of our contracted clinical sites.
