The Paramedic is an allied health professional whose primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients. Students can work towards either an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or Associate in Science (AS), and graduates are eligible to take the National Registry of EMTs certification exam.
