The Advanced EMT program provides advanced education in emergency medical services. This program enhances an EMT's skills and knowledge for providing comprehensive pre-hospital care. It requires successful completion of the EMT level, and culminates in an Advanced EMT certification after a semester of study and successful examination for Alabama state licensure.
