The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program trains students with skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a limited advanced life support level. Based on U.S. Department of Transportation guidelines, the course covers patient assessment, advanced life support, medical and behavioral emergencies, obstetrics, gynecology, trauma, and EMS operations. Instructional delivery is conducted on campus and at approved clinical sites.
