A 1-quarter (12-week) course that provides essential medical knowledge and hands-on training to respond in emergencies and save lives. Students learn to assess patients, provide basic medical care, manage trauma situations and work as part of an emergency response team. Prepares students for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) exam.
