A 170-hour comprehensive EMT training program covering anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, lifting and moving techniques, documentation, communication, lifespan development, obstetrics, disease processes, pharmacology, trauma, hazardous materials, disaster triage, basic life support and advanced airway management in accordance with National EMS Education Standards. Includes lecture, skills lab, simulations, role-playing, tactical decision games and 24 hours of field experience.
