The EMT course trains students to provide emergency medical care to critically ill or injured patients, working in settings like ambulances and hospitals. Students learn essential skills such as rapid response, patient assessment, immobilization, and extrication. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to take State of Connecticut and NREMT exams and can work as EMTs in various states.
