An 8-week course providing instruction to the level of Emergency Medical Technician (previously called EMT Basic or EMT-I). Covers skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life-support level with fire, ambulance, or other specialized services. Includes hands-on experience, preparation for EMT state certification test, and hospital emergency room observation time.
