The Emergency Medical Technician program prepares individuals to recognize illnesses and injury symptoms and to provide legally permissible emergency treatment. The curriculum consists of 104 hours of theory instruction, 112 hours of skills instruction and demonstration, and 66 hours of field and clinical experience in various High and Low Desert Agencies. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the NREMT exam.
