The EMT program at Contra Costa College enables students to become certified Emergency Medical Technicians in just one semester. This hands-on training includes the use of advanced tools, simulators, and a college-owned ambulance for real-world experience. The curriculum covers monitoring vital signs, CPR, and managing emergency situations, with an included ride-along component to meet local first responders and prepare for the national registry exam.
