Columbia Basin College offers an Emergency Medical Technician program each year in spring and fall quarters. The program provides the foundational skills necessary for EMS careers, covering basic life-saving techniques such as bleeding control, fracture stabilization, and emergency room transportation. Students are trained to administer epinephrine and use automated external defibrillators, equipping them with the skills to respond to various emergency medical scenarios.
