The Basic Firefighter Academy is designed to provide cadets with foundational fire service training required for most fire departments. The program includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and equipment maintenance. It prepares students to apply for the State Firefighter I Certificate, recognized nationally for Firefighter I certification.

The Emergency Medical Technician Local Certificate offers students the required courses to work as an EMT. Students gain practical skills through field and clinical experiences and learn essential emergency medical care techniques. Upon completing EMT 084, students can apply for certification by local counties to operate as an EMT, with a certificate valid for two years.
