A 20-week initial education program that provides students without prior medical training the ability to acquire a license in Georgia as an EMT and/or Advanced EMT, with national recognition through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Covers EMT and AEMT knowledge and skills including intravenous cannulation and therapy, airway assessment and treatment, and pharmacological intervention.
