The EMT course is a rapid-paced, 150-180 hour, seven credit-hour program completed in a semester. It includes classroom, lab, and field training, preparing students to take the national and state certification exams. It includes training in fire behavior, construction, rescue, hazardous materials, and vehicle operations. Graduates will be equipped to move into the Firefighter Level II program, essential for a firefighting career.
