A 5 credit technical diploma course that prepares students for all aspects of emergency care in both medical and trauma situations, covering anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, fractures and dislocations, spinal injuries, soft-tissue wounds, and ambulance operations. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to complete certification requirements for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
