The primary EMT class consisting of 170 hours of intensive training with interactive classroom lectures, manipulative skills practice, and 24 hours of clinical rotations at hospitals and/or ambulance field experience. Students complete National Registry of EMT (NREMT) psychomotor examinations. A grade of B or better is required to be eligible for the NREMT certification exam.
