Emergency Medical Technician

The Emergency Medical Technician Certificate program at Cerro Coso Community College trains students in emergency medical technology to prepare for entry-level positions in health and safety fields. Students learn to identify critical medical and trauma conditions, demonstrate leadership, and utilize resources in managing patient care. The course equips students with knowledge in CPR, AED usage, and basic pre-hospital care, allowing graduates to work as private ambulance operators, firefighters, or security and safety officers.
