A 7-credit hour, one-semester course that covers all aspects of emergency medical care in the field including equipment, anatomy and physiology, medical and trauma emergencies, and airway control. Students completing the course are eligible to apply to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician exam for certification as an EMT.
