This program provides students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients experiencing emergency medical conditions. Students will learn to assess, manage, and stabilize patients at the scene and during transport to healthcare facilities. The program prepares students for EMT certification and includes a hands-on component in collaboration with local emergency services.

Students will be prepared to sit for the National/State of Massachusetts EMT certification examination. Students are required to take two courses which are completed in one semester (Fall or Spring). Classes meet in person on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. EMT students will gain practical experience by taking part in both hands-on activities and simulations.
