EMT-Basic Course

The Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course is designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills necessary to assess and manage a wide range of medical emergencies. Students will learn to take the West Virginia EMT Certification Exam and, optionally, the National Registry Exam. The course emphasizes problem-solving, professional communication, and the legal and ethical considerations essential in emergency medical services.
