Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

A one-semester, seven-credit-hour course that prepares students for EMT-Basic certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and the Texas Department of State Health Services. The program combines classroom and laboratory instruction with 116 clinical hours, including riding third on an ambulance and completing supervised shifts in emergency and labor and delivery departments.
