The First Responder program, launched in 1994, is a Basic Life Support agency where members respond directly to medical emergencies in their personal vehicles. Originally utilizing personal jump bags, they now operate a fully stocked ALS suburban. The program includes over 20 EMTs and 4 ALS providers supporting Nottoway County Emergency Squad alongside firefighting duties.
