EMT Certification Course

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification course offered by Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad is a four-month program that includes classroom lectures, hands-on training, online learning, and ride-alongs on rescue calls. The program is designed to prepare candidates for the National Registry Cognitive Exam, providing students with the necessary skills to perform Basic Life Support (BLS). Students can choose weekly in-person classes or hybrid formats with monthly skill weekends.
