Firefighter I

Belmont College Main Campus

The Firefighter I course incorporates specialized classroom material, practical instruction, and learning experiences regarding firefighting practices complying with NFPA 1001 standards. Students engage in topics like fire safety, live fire training, and extrication, providing foundational knowledge. Successful candidates become eligible for state certification testing, preparing them for real-world firefighting tasks and safety management.

Firefighter II

Belmont College Main Campus

The Firefighter II course builds on skills learned in Firefighter I, focusing on advanced firefighting tactics, including managing liquid and gas fires and rescue operations. Coursework integrates theory with hands-on practical sessions in accordance with Ohio standards. The course culminates in certification testing, offering participants the credentials needed for career advancement and leadership roles in firefighting.

Paramedic

Belmont College Main Campus

The Paramedic program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for acute management of critical patients. This includes clinical, laboratory, and field exercises aligned with Ohio and national standards.
