The EMT program is designed for individuals looking to start a career in emergency medical services. Students will learn to evaluate, stabilize, and transport patients experiencing emergencies, acquiring necessary technical skills and knowledge through a mix of classroom and hands-on training. Upon completion, students will be prepared for the certification exam and possess the competencies needed to perform effectively as entry-level EMTs.

The program includes 105 lecture hours, 60 lab hours, and 24 fieldwork hours with no prerequisites required. Successful completion results in eligibility to take State and/or National Registry examinations for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
