This course prepares students for the Advanced EMT certification exam, covering the advanced management of medical and trauma emergencies. Students will learn defibrillation, intravenous cannulation, and pharmacological intervention. Changes in laws may affect course content. Enrollment requires EMT-Basic certification in Ohio, with focus on enhanced emergency response skills.
