Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Two eight-week, 6-credit courses (EMT-116 and EMT-117) offering 110 hours of lecture, 122 hours of lab and 36 hours of ride-alongs. Students develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver emergency medical care for the sick or injured of all ages in the pre-hospital setting, including control of the emergency scene, patient assessment, and management of patients in the field or in transit.
